From Sunday sermon to Church TV and podcast: a simple media workflow

You preach once, but the message can serve people all week. Here is how to turn one recording into a sermon library entry, a podcast episode and a looping Church TV channel.

Most of your members will not hear Sunday's message live. Some are at work, some are unwell, and some live in another city. A little organisation turns one recording into a ministry that reaches them all.

Build a sermon library

Upload video, audio and notes, and organise them by series, speaker and scripture. A visitor searching for "Psalm 23" or last year's series on prayer finds it without asking the office.

Stream, then keep the recording

If you livestream, the service appears on your website and in the member app. Afterwards, turn the recording into a sermon in your library, so the stream does not vanish when it ends.

Publish a podcast feed

Audio messages can be published as a podcast feed, so members can follow your church in their favourite podcast app and listen on the way to work.

Church TV

Church TV plays a looping programme of your sermons with a TV-style guide, an "On air" player and a "Jump to now" timeline, on your website and in the member app. It gives visitors something to watch on a Tuesday afternoon, not only on Sunday.

Kind to limited data

Not everyone has fast internet. Audio options and light pages make your messages available to members on limited data.

Put it on your website

Add a "latest sermons" block to your home page in one click, and it updates itself every time you publish.

A weekly routine

  1. Record the service.
  2. Upload it with the series and speaker on Monday.
  3. Add the notes and scripture.
  4. Publish, and let the website, app and podcast pick it up.

A consistent routine is better than a perfect one.
